Thank you!

Does anybody know what those authors in accordance with Suarez, Franzelin, Garrigou-Lagrange and Co. said on the membership of occult heretics after the promulgation of Mystici Corporis Christi?

No idea. The strange thing is that Garrigou`s teaching may be found in a post M. Corporis edition of his "De Christo Salvatore". I`ve a post-M. Corporis CUA thesis on canon 87 (on the canonical effects of baptism), which is quite good IMO, and yet it defends Franzelin and Fraghi.
Nevertheless they were already a minority. Lercher says that the teaching that public material heretics are not members of the Church is "common teaching and based on solid foundation" (quoted by Fenton, Membership in the Church, p. 300).
Fenton also quotes three theologians (Msgr. Parente, Frs. Yale and Calcagno) who wrote after MC saying that public material heretics are not members (Fenton, Saint Robert`s teaching about membership of occult heretics" page 217)

Thank you.

Yes, I was wondering especially since I saw it in the post-MC edition of De Christo Salvatore, too.
I also asked myself if anybody from this faction addressed the issue in light of MC.

Thanks for your help!

Oh BTW I think it is interesting to note that Fenton compares the teaching of Franzelin with that of Congar related to "invisible members", when he says: "The teaching of Franzelin and Congar obtains no support whatsoever from the Mystici Corporis" (Membership in the Church, pag. 304).

And one day I finished Fraghi!

Any thoughts from those who read it?
